A heritage
Discover a story of gluttony that spans the ages.
Since 1852, LOUIS FOUQUET has perpetuated the art of confectionery and chocolate, passing down from generation to generation a treasure trove of carefully preserved recipes and manufacturing secrets.
5 generations of artisan chocolatiers and confectioners have conquered the hearts of great artists, from Claude Monet to Gertrude Stein, from Yves Saint Laurent to Christian Dior, as have many eminent personalities, all the way to the Elysée Palace.
The common thread of this family business is above all a shared passion for making enchanting sweets made with great care and passion.
Craftsmen
All the artisanal production of our products is still made today in the workshop of the historic boutique at 36, rue Laffitte, located in the heart of the Drouot district, in Paris.
A young and passionate team reworks the House's traditional recipes to enhance them and imagines new creations that enrich our ranges of chocolates and confectionery.
Our artisans have mastered the complex art of confectionery and chocolate thanks to years of experience and transmission.
Their precious know-how, passed down from generation to generation, is reflected in every minute detail of our creations, from the selection of ingredients to the final presentation. Their creations are much more than products, they are testimonies of their passion.

"There was also rue Laffitte the confectioner Fouquet, with whom we could comfort ourselves by eating honey cakes and walnut petit fours, sometimes even instead of buying a painting from Vollard, we treated ourselves to Fouquet a pot of strawberry jam.
Gertrude Stein, 1933, “Autobiography of Alice Toklas”
“It is she who has the right to scold him when he strays due to his greed. Sometimes she authorizes, sometimes on the contrary she forbids bringing into the studio the sweets which the boss is fond of, but whose abuse is so harmful to his health. By a cruel twist of fate, Christian Dior's window overlooks, in Rue François Ier, the tempting windows of the excellent confectioner Fouquet. »
Marie-France Pochna, 1990, “Christian Dior”
"How is it possible to give up Salvators from Fouquet? Throughout my life, I have identified with this soft caramel coated with hard caramel, the bark of which must be crisped to make a soft center melt on the tongue. "
Frédéric Beigbeder, 2023, “Confessions of a slightly outdated heterosexual”
“For its salted butter caramels in buttered papers. For candies and chocolates in glass jars, ideal and great gifts to give when you spend the weekend with friends. For the only pots of mustard that can be left on the table. Jacqueline de Ribes always serves green or white mint ice cream squares at the end of a dinner,” summarizes Mathilde.
Mathilde Favier, 2024, “Mathilde in Paris”
