It is with immense pride that we announce that Louis Fouquet has won not one, but two distinctions at the European Open Craft Chocolatier Competition 2024, affirming our place among the world's finest chocolatiers.

Our pistachio gianduja scored an impressive 87.8 in the “Nut Based Pralines with Milk Chocolate” category, while our pistachio spread received an excellent 85.7 in the “Spreads with Milk Chocolate” category. These prestigious awards underline the incomparable excellence of our products, which are the result of a subtle balance between traditional craftsmanship and bold innovation.

The European Open Craft Chocolatier Competition: a competition of excellence 

Organized by the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting (IICCT), the European Open Craft Chocolatier Competition is one of the most respected competitions in the world of artisan chocolate. It brings together the best chocolatiers from Europe and around the world, judged according to rigorous criteria: quality of ingredients, harmony of flavors, texture and technical know-how. To be awarded a prize in this competition represents major recognition at world level. 

Exceptional creations: gianduja chocolate and pistachio spread 

Our pistachio gianduja, made with 43% cocoa milk chocolate and a creamy gianduja with whole Greek pistachios, won over the jury with its perfect balance and the quality of its carefully selected ingredients. In addition, our pistachio spread, made with pistachios from Greece, won them over with its smooth, creamy texture and delicate taste, the fruit of unrivalled craftsmanship.
