LOUIS FOUQUET: LEGACY OF EXPERTISE

In 1852, in the busy streets of Paris, LOUIS FOUQUET, a man passionate about the art of confectionery, opened the doors of his shop. Located in the heart of the 9th arrondissement of Paris, its small store is quickly becoming an essential destination for gourmets in search of exquisite flavors. Claude Monet, who loves fondants and violet candies, is one of the very first customers.

LOUIS FOUQUET, master jam maker, was renowned for his exceptional know-how and his passion for quality ingredients. He had a unique vision for creating artisanal jams that would delight the taste buds of Parisians. His quest for perfection pushed him to explore new recipes and to meticulously select the best seasonal fruits.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Chambeau Mimard family fell under the spell of this small shop and decided to continue the story of LOUIS FOUQUET.

171 years later, the Chambeau family continues to oversee the development of the brand.

RETURN TO ORIGINS: LOUIS FOUQUET

A NEW IMAGE

The Maison dug into its roots and chose to rename itself LOUIS FOUQUET in homage to its creator.
This new identity is inspired by a historic logo of the House created in 1928.

Full of charm, mischief and agility, the squirrel, “fouquet” in old French and emblem of the House from its origins, reinvents itself as a conqueror
and adorned with copper.

LOUIS FOUQUET is reinvesting its cradle on avenue Montaigne, which was one of its historic addresses, in a space designed by Christophe Tollemer.
